The pools are CLOSED for the 2011 season. Pools will reopen next spring.
PRE-SEASON POOL TIMES (April 1 to June 15)
MAIN POOL:
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri: 8am-4pm (swim practice after 4pm)
Sat/Sun: 8am-8pm
EAST/WEST POOL:
Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun: 8am-8pm
*Lifeguards will not be scheduled until Memorial Day weekend.
Lifeguards
There are a few lifeguard positions open at this time. Please contact Jan York in the business office for an application or email the Pool Manager, Sarah Larson, at poolmanager@walnutcountry.com. Newly-hired lifeguards get paid $9.00, returning $9.50. Applicants need to be 16 years old or older and been have their Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification (with First Aid), in addition to CPR/AED for Adult, Child and Infant.
Lifeguard certificates are valid for 3 years upon successful completion and include CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certificate (valid for 1 year); and First Aid Certificate (valid for 3 years).
The Lifeguard Challenge Course is available for recertification of the Lifeguard Certification.

All residents must share the responsibility for keeping
the pools safe during the season.
Please
follow these basic rules:
- Photo ID badges and pool key are required to
enter any of the pools.
- Lifeguards on duty from June 15th to Labor Day weekend
- Children under 14 years of age MAY NOT use the pools without an adult in attendance.
- If a pool guest does not have a badge, they will be asked to leave. CHOA personnel and Provident Protection Group officers randomly check for badges.
- Do NOT open the gate for anyone.
- Do not loan your pool key to friends.
- Obey all posted rules.
- The wading pool at the main pool is for children ages 5 years and younger ONLY. Parents MUST be within arms-length of their child who cannot swim. It is the parents responsibility to keep the older children out of the wading pool.
- CONSERVE WATERlimit showering to rinsing off.
- Flush toilets after every use.
- Please use trash receptacles to keep pool areas tidy.
