Landmark Smokestack One of our playgrounds with our landmark smokestack in the background.  Installed in 1935, this 235 foot smokestack was part of a kiln used to dry limestone for the Cowell-Portland cement company.  Constructed of reinforced concrete, it is designed to withstand a magnitude 10 earthquake and 90 mile per hour winds.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	Historic Firehouse The other structure left over from the town of Cowell is our firehouse.  Currently used for storage, plans are being developed to renovate the building for more productive uses.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	West-End Pool Next to the firehouse is one of our satellite pools.   This pool is a quiet place for swim lessons and general swimming in the summer months.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	East-End Picnic Area The East pool includes a cabana for restrooms and showers.   It also has a picnic and play area.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	Walnut Country Greenbelt Our greenbelt includes over one mile of paths for walking and bicycling.  These paths run through the development and our many acres of park area.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	Clubhouse and Main Pool Our clubhouse and main pool.  We have a full time recreation staff to supervise clubhouse activities and organize group activities.   During the summer, the main pool is home to our swim team the stingrays.

Preschool Next to the clubhouse is our preschool.  This fully licensed facility offers a head start on educating our younger members.  It offers a variety of classes during the school year and offers the added benefit of being located within the community.
Click on thumbnail photo to see full-size image.	Tennis Courts The Crossings includes eight tennis courts (four of them are lighted).  In addition to general play for our members, these courts are home to our lesson programs and a variety of tournament activities.
