2025 Outdoor Movie Night
RSVP by Sunday, 11/2 for the Crossings’ very own Outdoor Movie Night! RSVP here: https://forms.gle/govZ7JzLmfKerKAm6
We’ll be featuring Wicked part one, just in time to refresh your memory before part two releases at the end of November.
The fun begins at 4:30p with a pre-movie picnic and hangout time. We’ll play music and have delicious food trucks with food for purchase: Dad’s BBQ and Baby O’s mini donuts will park on Lawson Ct.
Note we will not be doing bounce houses this year.
Check in at the welcome table to get your tickets for free, freshly popped popcorn. One per person.
The movie will begin at sundown around 5:30p, Wicked is rated PG and has a run time of 2hrs and 40min, so it should wrap up right around 8:15p.
Jeff Silverman, Dr of Astrophysics from UC Berkeley, will set up his telescope again to gaze up at the night sky during the movie night. Only red flashlights near the telescope as red light does not impact night vision.
Bring your CHOA IDs, blankets, low back chairs (high back chairs ok for back area seating so you don’t block the view for others around you), and your friends and family who would like to spend an evening out on the greenbelt with you. Don’t forget flashlights and bring layers in case it gets chilly for the walk home.
These events are made possible thanks to everyone coming together and lending a hand – Adults, teenagers, grandparents, aunts & uncles – all are welcome to volunteer! Sign up here: https://bit.ly/24CHOAMovieVolunteer
